The club received excellent news this week, regarding a player who has come through from the clubs u16s. On Friday 22nd January, Kieran McCombe signed a Letter of Intent to play for Campbellsville University in Kentucky, USA. McCombe will join as part of a 4 year Scholarship agreement starting in August 2021, where he will play in the NAIA for one of the leading Universities in the region.

McCombe broke into the first team squad this season, making his debut vs Mulbarton in the FA Vase in October, and went on to make 7 appearances before the premature suspension of football in December.

In his first league game for the club, Kieran was voted man of the match after just 35 mins of the 5-0 victory away at Wisbech St Mary, where he impressed the management team and players, and led to a prolonged stay in the team. In the clubs last league game, McCombe played an integral role against one of the title favourites, March Town, setting up 2 goals in a 3-1 victory.

The Campbellsville Tigers have some impressive facilities and play games at the impressive Finley Stadium on Campus. He will combine playing with studying for his Bachelors Degree in Sports Management.
