While the immediate football future is uncertain, the club are beginning to plan ahead for the 2021-22 season and are looking for expressions of interest to join the club, and specifically to lead the Under 18s side from the 2021-22 Season.

Current Manager Paul Bliss has taken on additional responsibility within the Reserves alongside Dan Nolan, so we will be seeking a new management team for the 2021-22 season, with the potential to be involved for the remainder of the current season in a support/lead role, if football were to resume in any capacity for the side.

The U18s have been very competitive and successful over the last couple of years and we anticipate having a strong squad next season with a fantastic current core of players within the side already with a year ahead of them, coupled with a strong U16s side coming through. In addition to this, we will be looking to add quality into the club as always.

In the current Season, Nine players from the current squad have stepped up and represented the first team in friendlies or league games, all part of the clubs development of youth ethos. We will look to continue to provide a pathway for local young players into senior football, with several of the current squad (who will be over age for the 21-22 season) pushing for first team squad places next season, following excellent development in our 18s, Development and reserve teams during the 20-21 season.

Interested parties are urged to get in touch for an informal chat with Rob McCombe to discuss the role and ask any questions. Rob can be contacted via email: westnorwichpdm@yahoo.com or Tel: 07766 952179 All conversations to be held strictly confidentially.

The role may suit someone already involved in U18s football, or perhaps someone looking for a pathway from 15s/16s over the coming season(s).
